Garth Boyd has been creating original artworks and designs since 2022, under the moniker "Hemogoblin" shortened within his work to "Hemo". The name was inspired from a dream, as a creature travelling through his own veins, stealing away red blood cells, the name itself being a twist on hemoglobin. Boyd's work takes inspiration from artists like OSEAN WORLD, BRACKMETAL, and Karl Kopinski. Boyd's work covers a wide variety of appeal, yet stays consistent within his own taste and style. Boyd strives to break conventional design around characters and figures, using expressive and emotive linework to create simple, yet overdesigned and explosively scratchy "Children of Hemo", his main body of work. Boyd distorts conventional posing and anatomy in pursuit of emotional and stylish characters, that each breath their own personalities and motifs.
